Skin presets are included but can be further customized with the included skin translucency strength settings, eye enhancement settings, SSS tint settings, translucency color settings, Transmitted Measurement Distance settings, and skin shine settings.
Most Altern8 presets also reduce render times compared to default Genesis 8 skin settings.
