Description:
Ichthyovenator is known from a single type species, Ichthyovenator laosensis. The generic name is derived from Greek (ichthys), "fish", and Latin venator, "hunter", in reference to a piscivorous lifestyle.
Ichthyovenator is the first confirmed Asian spinosaur It was around 9 meters long ( 29,5 feet ), and was related to Baryonyx and Suchomimus.
